Many English as a Second Language students love to play games in their free time. English teaching programs have began to understand this and produce games for learning grammar, listening, reading, writing and speaking. The Voice of American English language radio programs use a limited amount of words so that non-native speakers can follow their radio broadcasts. We have developed this list of words into a game so you can test your language skills. There are over two thousand words so don’t be discouraged if you don’t get the correct English word the first time. Do look at the list of words and ask for a clue if you get stuck. Studying English spelling is challenging but well worth the effort.
